Trip Day 1: Lusaka to Kafue National Park.

Located in the middle of western Zambia, Kafue National Park is the largest and oldest National Park in the country, and it is where your safari will begin after picking you up from your hotel. The reserve gets its water supply from three rivers—the Lufupa, the Lunga, and the Kafue—with the Lufupa’s annual summer flood producing a magnificent floodplain delta. Wildlife abounds in this unique reserve because to the floodplains, rivers, and woodlands that are home to numerous species. Tourists can look forward to seeing hippos at Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, a wide variety of birds, and animals including zebras, lions, and elephants in the Busanga Plains to the north, and antelopes and other animals in the more remote Nanzhila Plains to the south. After checking in with the park rangers, we set out on a game drive that will take us to our campsite. We may need your assistance in establishing camp. Tent camping in the Kasabushi location.

Day 2: Kafue national park experience.

This early riser is going on a game drive in the morning, then coming back for lunch and a stroll in the afternoon. Sable, Roan, Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard, among many others, are common here. Dinner and overnight at your camp

Day 3: Depart Kafue and head back to Lusaka.

The final day of the tour consists of breakfast and a transfer back to the hotel in Lusaka. On your way out of town or on your way to the airport, you might want to stop at Tribal Textiles or one of the other shops to pick up some locally made souvenirs or presents.
